Frequently asked questions
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Kelowna?
Every event is quoted individually based on length, location and equipment needed. A full-day wedding package (ceremony through the end of the dance) includes DJ and MC services, premium sound for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception, wireless microphones, dance floor lighting, unlimited planning consultations and setup, teardown and travel within the Okanagan. Request a quote and you will hear back within one business day.
What areas do you serve?
Kris is based in Kelowna and regularly performs across the Okanagan Valley including West Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, Summerland, Penticton and Vernon. Travel within the Okanagan is included in wedding packages; destinations further afield are welcome with a travel fee.
Do you provide your own sound and lighting?
Yes. Kris supplies everything: PA speakers and subwoofer, wireless microphones, dance floor lighting, DJ booth and table. The only thing needed on site is standard power.
Can we choose our own music?
Absolutely. Every booking includes custom playlists, must-play and do-not-play lists, and as many planning conversations as you need. Kris reads the room on the night and blends your requests with what is working on the dance floor.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak Okanagan wedding dates (May through October, especially Saturdays) often book 9 to 18 months ahead. A 50% deposit secures your date, with the balance due by the event date.
